Now that the shop has been in existence for over a year, the anniversary was duly celebrated — with an unforgettable live concert by Can mit Messer, followed by a rousing rave in old warehouses. The atmosphere was electrifying and reflected the lively essence of the second-hand party.

However, Second-Hand-Party's journey went beyond shop spaces. The first external appearances took place at the Burning Stone Festival and the Smoke Loud Open Air, where the unique mix of vintage finds and creative energy enthralled the audience. The events were as varied as the name promises, including a rave in the greenhouses, live concerts with artists such as HastemaFeuer and SBN, live tattoo event and vernissages by Nicolai and Greategger.

On 11.12.23, the time had finally come — we were proud to present our website to you. A digital space that captures the unique world of Second-Hand-Partys and invites you to join our creative adventure. This website marks another milestone in our journey and we're looking forward to seeing the Second-Hand-Party community continue to grow.

After second-hand parties have been thrown out of their hallowed halls on Berliner Chaussee, Paul Rolfs takes the initiative and sets himself up in order to keep the tradition alive. In search of a new home for the Second-Hand-Party, he sets out on a mission to find a place that is just as inviting and unique.

In May 2022, the time has come: Paul opens the first real shop in Buckau, Magdeburg. The shop quickly becomes a lively neighborhood meeting place, where numerous events are organized throughout the year. Here, many artists are given the opportunity to present their talents — whether in the form of DJs, painters or musicians.

The shop is not only becoming a local hotspot, but is also opening up digital horizons. For the first time, the step into the world of online shopping is being ventured, with an Etsy shop to make the offer available nationwide. This expansion makes it possible to offer the unique finds from the Second-Hand-Party to a wider audience and to spread the creative diversity beyond the borders of Magdeburg.

Second-Hand-Party continues its unique events, with exciting guests such as Creator Kollektive and Eightyoneace. These unforgettable meetings continue to take place in the familiar warehouse, which is known for its charming atmosphere.

The unmistakable flair of the Second-Hand-Party is retained, while numerous coveted pieces of clothing change hands once again. The events are not only an opportunity to discover vintage treasures, but also a platform for creative minds and inspiring collectives who fill the hall with life. Join us as we continue the tradition, where countless kilos of fashion finds continue to exchange hands, and the spirit of Second-Hand-Party thrives in every gathering.

Second-Hand-Party opened its doors for the first time after the initial lockdowns, initially in a warehouse. The atmosphere was full of energy as the coveted garments went from hand to hand. Guests enjoyed not only browsing but also activities such as table tennis, while cold drinks provided a refreshing break.

At that time, Second-Hand-Party was still led by Sven Berlinski. But at the end of 2020, the name became the program and the first event with MUSA NOVA was already in the starting blocks. Since then, Second-Hand-Party has developed into a place that not only offers second-hand treasures but also serves as a platform for exciting events and creative gatherings.
